Katja Heinze

Katja grew up building legos, catching bugs and daydreaming. She wanted to be a pilot, an environmentalist and an actress, but after high school she went into esthetics. She competed in nail competitions, judged them, and taught across Canada for OPI. After a couple years she made a brief switch into modelling in Toronto, then again into the oilfield and went through several speeding tickets, mud tanks and hair colours. She drove a vac truck on the rigs for a couple years while teaching herself to tattoo. After tattooing in the Peace River area of BC for a year, she moved back to Saskatchewan to open her own tattoo studio.

Katja lovingly owns and operates Mama Tried - Tattoo Smith in Saskatoon, and loves working in a community where artists and collectors get to co-create. Some of her favourite things to tattoo include portraits, anything related to nature, and blending realistic and illustrative styles. She adores getting unique concept ideas -whatever the subject may be - and weaving the story into images that say more than words ever could. That said, she also enjoys tattooing feel-good flash that is just plain fun to look at!

Her interests include business, photography, airbrushing, sculpting, writing and song writing etcetera, so projects and ideas of every form, shape and size are welcome!

Harmeet Singh

Harmeet Singh was born and raised in New Delhi, India and recently moved to Canada to pursue his dreams. He has a bachelor's in business administration and some schooling in engineering. He followed many interests to finally realize his earnest passion in tattooing in nearly 2015. it was not easy for him to take up his passion as a profession. He had to fight that typical mindset and taboo of being a tattoo artist instilled in some stereotype societies. He exemplifies a figure of being a passionate Sikh Tattoo Artist who has traveled miles to realize his dreams.

Being born and raised in a Sikh family, he still withholds all the value teachings which has made him the only baptized Sikh Tattoo Artist in the whole tattoo industry.

He owns exceptional artistic abilities which took him to a platform where he wished to be two years back. His excellent flair for art and design took him to tattoo some renown personalities like Gangis Khan, Karan Aujhla and other famous singers from Punjabi. He burnt the midnight oil to stand at this position in this cut throat competitive industry.

Franscisco

I think tattoos, it’s a way to write the time of your life on your skin. Skin is the perfect canvas to depict your story through my art.

I’m from Mexico, but I have been living in Canada for 8 years. I’ve been tattooing for a few years now and it quickly became my passion and an important part of my life. Every project gets a lot of attention from me because I try to put all that I can to translate your ideas on a design.
