A little bit about me

Ruda was born and raised in South Korea and moved to Canada with her family 3 years ago. From a young age, she showed a strong interest and natural talent in art, which led her to graduate from an art university in Korea.

After graduation, she spent several years teaching art to high school students who were preparing to enter art colleges. She also worked for a long time as a teaching assistant at a university, supporting students and deepening her own understanding of art through education.

Her lifelong passion for drawing eventually led her to tattooing as a new and meaningful way to create. Ruda draws strong inspiration from realism based fine art and focuses on highly detailed and delicate tattoo work. Tattooing allows her to bring her artistic background into a living canvas while continuing to grow as an artist.

Working with clients she has met in Canada has been a deeply moving and rewarding experience for her. She is especially grateful for the trust her clients place in her and feels inspired every day by their stories and the personal meanings behind their tattoos. Many of her works are centered around deeply meaningful ideas, memories, and emotions that clients wish to carry with them for life.

Ruda hopes to continue her journey as a tattoo artist who creates lasting pieces that hold memories her clients will want to keep forever.
